Eren Labs (erenlabs.net) makes Eren Stocktake, an app that runs physical inventory counts inside a Shopify store. Questions about this policy, and requests to export or delete your store's data, go to support@erenlabs.net.
With your permission the app reads your products and variants (titles, SKUs, barcodes, pictures, cost, price, vendor, product type, tags and collections), your inventory quantities at each location, your locations, and which of the app's plans your store is on. It reads them to build the list of things to count, to work out what a count changed, and to show reports. The screens in your Shopify admin also read your store's currency to show amounts; that is not stored.
The app does not ask for, and cannot read, your orders, your customers or their addresses. It never sees payment details. Because it holds no customer data, a customer data request from Shopify finds nothing to return or delete.
It changes nothing else: no products, collections, orders or customers.
The app runs on Cloudflare (Workers, Durable Objects, D1 and R2). For your store we keep:
Someone counting joins from a link or QR code and types a name. No account, email address or phone number is collected, and their entries are attributed to the name they typed. The counting page keeps the count's item list, scans not yet sent, recent scans and the device's sign-in for that count in the phone's browser storage, so counting goes on without a signal; clearing the browser's data for the site removes them. Staff who open the app from your Shopify admin are identified by the staff id Shopify gives us and by the name they choose to show.
Uninstalling removes our access to your store at once. About 48 hours later Shopify asks us to delete your store's data, and at that point everything listed above is deleted, including the CSV copies. Reinstalling before then finds your data as you left it. The inventory changes the app wrote stay in Shopify's own inventory history, in your store.
Nobody else. Cloudflare hosts the app and Shopify is the source of the data. The app has no analytics, advertising or tracking code and no session recording. Your data is not sold, rented or shared, and we do not use it to train models.
Your store's access token is encrypted before it is stored. Every request from the app's screens in your admin is checked against Shopify's session token for the person using it. Counting links are random and can carry a PIN. A count's links are revoked from the count (Connect a device), branch links from Settings, and a device can be removed from a count; each stops at once.
Write to support@erenlabs.net and we will export or delete your store's data. You can also export any count yourself from the app as CSV, or as Excel on a paid plan. If you are in the EU or the UK, the lawful basis for this processing is our contract with you as the merchant, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
